So does anyone know what is in the front building of the plant. I drove by there today and saw cars in the front parking lot of building 50.
Today is a day that I think quite often of Gary Mount and giving all of us Valentine’s cards. I can remember coming into work and there on my desk would be a card from someone and the card would be signed “YGM” – Young Gary Mount. So in memory of Gary today, Happy Valentines.

This week’s Tornado and last month’s Tornado makes me think of all the good things that we as a group of people and company did for our fellow men and women. I also think about all the good we did for the Susan G. Komen Foundation by helping with their team efforts of data entry and shipping and the Survivor’s breakfast….
I would like to say – Thanks for being there … I truly miss those times and how we all came together as one force….

Happy New Year!!!
Can’t believe it is 2008!!! My life has changed a lot in the last two years. My last day at the plant(7400 Scott Hamilton) was in September of 2006. At that time, Randy and I had adopted one son, Justin. Then in December of 2006 we adopted another baby a little red head girl, Mackenzie, and the red hair goes with the temper. I worked for 7 1/2 months for Corporate Alltel and then started working for Almatis, the old Alcoa plant between Bryant and Benton. Corporate world was fun but I am an old factory girl at heart and I hated the drive to downtown Little Rock. It is nice to be 10 minutes at the most from work….
I still enjoy going to the UALR basketball games. Justin and I go with Sherry Turley and one of her sisters. My Mom has moved to the country and with that we now enjoy the country life some and we have a horse named Max. So now at an old age, I have started riding horses some in the Ozark Mountains…..
For those of you who don’t know me as Bobbie Reese, I am Bobbie Hays… I hired in 1983 and worked in Accounting.
Again thanks to the guys behind the scene to get this blog site working for us all…
Happy New Year!!!!!
Bobbie(BJ, Hays)

Life after AT&T: Walter and I moved to my birthplace near Batesville, AR, to take care of my parents in their golden years. Father died in 1997 after becoming infected with ehrlichiosis from a tick bite, Mother died in 2001 after a long bout with rheumatoid arthritis and a liver disease. When we moved there, we built our house three tenths of a mile off the main road on 145 acres of pasture and timber. Until my parents died, we thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet, the spring fed pond in our front yard that my father had stocked with catfish, bass, and crappie. The yard was frequented daily by a variety of wildlife such as deer, quail, and turkey. It was a virtual paradise if you didn’t mind the ticks and isolation. However, after the death of my parents, it became very lonely there, and we longed for bright lights and big city life again. Also, Walter’s health was starting to fail big time, so, in August 2004, I sold my beloved homeplace and moved us to Fort Mill, SC, a suburb of Charlotte, NC, where his two sons now live with their new spouses. Our lot is the size of a postage stamp compared to the 145 acre property; however, we don’t have to maintain the lawn.
walk to the games. In inclement weather, I drive him, or one of the guys comes by for him. I do all the driving now. Under the circumstances, life is good.
