Mike/ttylr,
I stumbled onto your website/blog today and was glad to find it. Isn’t the internet a great place… My wife Pat & I have an empty nest, but the girls come and visit often. We live on Table Rock Lake in Missouri. I’m retired, but my wife Pat is an RN and still works for St. Johns.
Many of you may remember my uncle John Wolthuis, he and his family came and spent a week with us last year for John and Helens 50th wedding anniversary. What a great time that was.
Anytime I have a chance to recall good times that were had at Teletype, I do so.
I have marked the website and will pass on the information to others that were also at that location.
regards
Bert Manar
Hi Bert,
Good to hear from you and that you and Pat are doing well. Takes me back to the days of the Low Cost Keyboard. One of the best parts of monitoring the blog is getting to remove names from the “Missing Persons” list and adding them to the email list. I had forgotten that John was your uncle. I have corrected the spelling of his name but left him on the “Missing” list until we get an email address for him.
Regards,
Mike

Bert,
Good to see you pop up here. I’ve wondered where you might be and where you went after Reading, PA. Seeing some of these names sure brings back good memories.
