My years were at Skokie TTY. But I visited LR a few time about 1984. Clinton was still govenor and the people in LR were happy we built the plant there.
The people in the shop were wonderful to this visitor. And the folks in the office always had a problem or two for us. That kept us busy and happy.
Like you the names and faces seem to go away. But one stands out. His name was Meech. Cable shop manager. His people loved him and he loved them back. What a nice spot to visit.
