Hello Everyone! Thanks to Bobbie Reese for sending me this link. I arrived at Avaya in Jan 2000 and left Celestica in September 2004 as the Environmental Health and Safety Manager (yes I replaced Lee and Cathy or at least tried too!). After the initial workforce reductions, I moved to Ft Smith to work for Exide Corporation. Fortunately, Almatis (Formally Alcoa), offered me an Environmental Health and Safety position back in August 2005 and I took it, been here ever since.
I miss working in that huge building but occasionally do get to see Bobbie Reese, Dale Howell, Jerry Brown, and Jessica Doughtery in the hallways! (We all work for Almatis!) Email from John Naglak,(Great to hear he is doing well), an occasional call from Dorothy Wright, And then Laura Cole, (a true friend), who calls just to see how things are going! What a great bunch of people!
This Blog is Great, what a way to keep up with folks!
Rusty!! What a great surprise to see you on the blog! I heard from someone you had moved back. Did you get married yet?

Rusty,
After sending you that link several times, I am glad you decided to join in on the fun. It has been great just reading and looking at all the pictures and comments. I was thinking how great it would be if I could find some of the pictures of our health fair that we had when we were Celestica employees. We had such a fun group of people to work together. I have enjoyed working with you and John Naglak. You two were the greatest bosses. I learned so much from both of you and I really appreciate the opportunity you gave me. Now, I can share my knowledge and abilities on this job. I personally want to thank you Rusty too for all the dedicated work at Celestica you done. You really cared about the people that you worked with including all the employees. You worked so hard at making sure we were always in compliances even if you had to work me extra hours to get it done. (LoL)
So my hat is off to you for being a great asset to AVAYA and Celestica. Keep up the good work. By the way, I’m glad that I don’t have to hear you say every Monday morning, “Lau–ra, do you have the weekly checklist done!”

Rusty,
I have a very good friend named Rob Porbeck who works for Almatis. I think he is an Operations Manager or Engineer. Hope everything is going well for you.
