Thanks to Evelyn Bruce I found the website and it was great to hear what my old friends are doing since I left Little Rock in 1991. I transferred to AT&T Microelectronics in Allentown and retired from Lucent in 2000 as an Admin. Assistant to Walt Simmons. My children are scattered two sons in Pennsylvania, daughter Paula is a teacher in the Little Rock School District and youngest Rick is with the Air National Guard in Fairbanks, AK. I have four grandchildren my two Pennsylvania grandsons attend Lebanon Valley College in PA, my Arkansas granddaughter the University of Arkansas and my youngest attends Sylvan Hills High School. Since retiring Paul and I have traveled all but two of the 50 states in our motorhome our most recent was to Alaska. We visit the Little Rock area several times a year and purchased a small home in Sherwood which we are slowly remodeling. Paul and live in Bloomsburg, PA on property owned by his greatgrandfather. I would like to move back to Arkansas but Paul is a small town Pennsylvania boy and he plans to stay here.
Hi Mary,
Glad you found the blog site and thanks for posting on it. I added you to the master email list and included you in the group mailout of the update, but it was returned undelivered with the following error:

The original message had a text file attachment with all the email addresses of the other 150+ former employees that we have collected to date. I tried resending it without the attachment but that failed also. If you would like to receive the original message with everyone’s addresses, see if you can set your email account options to accept messages from me or perhaps suggest an alternate email address for yourself. You can email me directly at jmbrauer@att.net.
Thanks,
Mike

Hello Mary,
Great to hear from you. I didn’t remember that you went to PA. So tell us, what was it like driving from PA to AK? It sounds like a lot of fun to me, especially if someone else was doing the driving.

MARY!!!!
I am so glad you were notified of the “blog!” I used to have your home address, but somewhere, somehow in my moves I lost it.
I was remembering the other day and laughting thinking about you, Georgetta, and I playing cards during our lunch break–was it Uno??
I have lost all track of Georgetta–do you know anything of her whereabouts?

Mary
Glad to hear everything is going well for you and that you are maintaining some Arkansas ties.
I wanted to let you know that I enjoyed meeting your daughter, Paula, at an Easter Seals function that she attended with Carol Kerr.
Sounds like you have had a busy and enjoyable retirement if you have visited almost all of the 50 states including a trip to Alaska in your motor home.
