Hi everyone!! This is such a good idea. I’m always wondering about some of my old friends. After I left Celestica I took it easy for a while….then got bored and got a job. Kathy Rayburn and I work together at CCMSI in the Prospect Building on University. We handle workmans compensation. We love our job! Shirley Carlisle works around the corner at the Health Dept on Markham, and once a week we meet her for lunch. I keep in touch with a few others from the plant. When Robert Navra is in town, Mickey Wagner, Murray, Shirley, Kathy and I will meet him at El Chico and visit. Nothing exciting going on in my life lately. Still single, no grandchildren. My son works for ABC Block, not married, but has a long time girlfriend. They’ve become engaged lately…but no date set yet. I see Evelyn Threlkeld a lot now, since she lost her husband over a year ago. We try to keep each other busy. Well, I’m at work, so I better sign off for now. Good to hear from all of you.
Nancy!
Wonderful to hear from you again! Glad you are on the blog. We need help finding the rest of us. Stay in touch and pass the word around.

Hi Nancy, Good to hear from you. I’m glad to know where Shirley Carlisle landed too. Has she found the blog yet? Good to find out where everyone have ‘landed’ after the old plant days, isn’t it? You and Kat stay out of trouble over there. Take care, Barbara

Hey! Nancy
Did you ever get your house back in order. When I saw you at the FEMA meeting you were still (LOOKING GOOD). I seen your picture in the paper when your house flooding and saw my heart goes out to you! Shot me a line and let me know how you are doing. If you see me patrolling in Bryant flag me down. Mike

Hi Mike
Sorry it’s taken so long for me to respond. I don’t have a computer at home anymore, (it drowned) so I don’t check my blog that often here at work. My house is looking normal again. Just doing the finishing touches on it. I finally got my car out of the shop. It’s been in for 2 months. Every time I get it back, something else goes wrong, but I think it’s okay this time. I hope I never have to go through that again. It’s been a nightmare. And FEMA is a joke. They are not going to help anyone that’s able to help themselves. You have to be destitute before you get anything free out of them. I’m lucky that I didn’t lose anything of real value, except maybe my computer and my treadmill. My neighbors were worse off than me, so I count my self fortunate. The man you saw in the paper with me is an old friend from school that contacted me a year ago. He has been a god send. He’s friends with a guy that owns a construction company, and has supervised all the work done on my house. It’s great to have good friends. Well, it was good to hear from you. Pull me over sometime. lol. Just kidding.
Nancy
