I have been enjoying reading posts from former employees. Thanks to Brauer and Ayers for sending the blog address. I have been wondering what so many of you are doing now. I retired in 1999 after transferring to Shreveport in 1996. I am as retired as anyone can be and loving every minute of it. I live in Clinton, Van Buren County, Arkansas, withing a few miles of where my ancestors settled in the 1830’s, 1840’s, and 1850’s. My favorite pasttimes are bird watching and Genealogy. I have almost 4000 people in my family tree, and would like to add a grandchild!

It is so great to hear of your “retirement.” I certainly wish I COULD retire. It’s so sad…my husband had to retire and hates it and I hate that I have to continue working. I just thank God daily that I have a job that’s close to home. I only have to drive 7 miles one way each day!
