Another Good Job– Gordon
Well, life after almost 37 years with Teletype/AT&T/Lucent/IBM/
Avaya and Celestica at the I30 @ Scott Hamilton is good. I was not ready to stop work when Celestica closed but it didn’t take me long to get adjusted to not working and would have a hard time going back to work. It is so nice to do what you want when you want.
We have 2 grandsons that play basketball so we spend a lot of time going to ballgames.

Hello Evie,
Yes it’s been about three years in retirement for me with the exception of working for my brother for about two months. I sure miss all of the associates we worked with at the plant. Do you know if Sue is aware of this web page? Also, have you heard from Clay Church since he left?
Keep in contact.

Evie, Thank you for telling me about this website. It is so much fun reading all the responses from all the great friends from Teletype/at&t/Lucent. I’ve been retired since 1996 and have loved every minute of it. Wayne & I built our dream house in the country at Quitman on my old home place. I enjoy everyday. We have 3 grandchildren, ages 21, 18, and 12. The 21 year old is in her 3rd year of college at U of A. We stay busy watching the other 2 play softball, baseball, & basketball.
I started taking line dancing lessons a year ago with a group of women, we dance 4 times a week at the city halls in Quitman, Rosebud, & Heber Springs. I have a friend that lives next door to me that I grew up with as a child and we walk from 15 to 22 miles a week.

Here I am again, I ran out of space. I am also busy in our church which is the one I grew up going to. It is only 1/2 mile from my home. In the spring and summer if you drive by my home you will see me working in the yard which I really enjoy.

Minnie Raye, so glad you have this web site.
I didn’t have your email address and forwarded this site on to Judy Pearson to send to you also.
I know you are enjoying line dancing.
