Briefly, our businesses are doing well and I’ve had the opportunity to continue to enjoy working with several of you over the last 11-12 years since I left AT&T.
On a personnel note a lot of change, some of you knew I was married in the early 80’s and now some 23 years later, I got remarried a few months ago. My wife, Sue, moved here from Oxford, MS and heads up the VA employee heath clinic on the UAMS campus and works with our own Dr. Ed Watson who was nosey enough to determine her boyfriends’ identity on her first interview trip and surprised me in the parking lot where I was waiting. In addition to my 25 year old son who is doing well, I now have a 14 year old stepson, Banks, in the house and a stepdaughter and husband, Lauren & BJ, who recently introduced a 2-3 month old granddaughter, Dakota, to the family. Christmas such as I experienced as a child (my father was the youngest of about a dozen) with herds of children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews is back with a vengeance since Sue is the youngest of 5 children. It will be fun…..
